Wooden-handle spider strainer, 20cm

A fine stainless steel mesh spider strainer with a reinforced wire frame and a long wooden handle that stays cool over the fryer. The bowl is about 20cm across, deep enough to lift a batch of vadai, prawns, chips or fried onions clear of hot oil in one scoop, and it drains fast. Suits busy fry stations in hotels, restaurants and short-eat kitchens, and works just as well at home for deep frying and for skimming stock or lifting noodles.
