A heavy-duty S/S saucepan with a 1.2mm body, thick sandwich-style base and a matching lid, sized about 25cm across and about 18cm deep. The thick bottom spreads heat evenly and resists scorching, so it suits stocks, curries, milk rice, dhal and bulk sauces on gas or electric ranges. Built for hotel and restaurant kitchens and caterers, but equally at home with cooks who batch-cook for a large family.
