A short, hand-shaped coconut wood stick, tapered to a point at one end with a flat rounded top, about 25–30 cm long by the look of the photo. It is the traditional kitchen paththa used for prising and prodding work — loosening coconut flesh, pushing food through, and light pounding in a small mortar. Suits home kitchens and any restaurant or caterer that still does coconut and spice prep by hand.
