Cut-glass butter dish with lid

A square butter dish in clear cut glass with a domed, faceted lid and a star-shaped knob, sized for a standard block or pats of butter. The lid keeps butter covered on the table or buffet, and the flat base doubles as a small serving plate for cheese or preserves. Suits hotel breakfast buffets, restaurant and cafe table service, and home dining tables that want something a bit dressier than plastic.
