In stock at Pettah
A wide, shallow stainless steel basin punched all over with fine drain holes, built for draining oil off fried food and for washing and straining rice, vegetables and greens in bulk. The 65 in the name is taken as about 65 cm across the rim, so it suits busy kitchens working by the kilo rather than a small home sink. Good for hotel and restaurant fry stations, caterers and sweet-shop kitchens, and it doubles as a big wash colander.
