Wire Spider Skimmer, Wooden Handle

A wire mesh spider skimmer with a riveted wooden handle, made for lifting fried food out of hot oil and letting it drain fast. The bowl is about 18cm across, giving you a wide scoop for chips, cutlets, vadai, wontons or blanched noodles and greens. Suits busy hotel and restaurant fry stations, short-eats kitchens and home cooks who fry often; the timber handle stays cooler in the hand than all-metal skimmers.
