A heavy aluminium steamer made up of a base pot, a deep perforated steaming section and a domed lid, with cast side handles for lifting when full. It is built for string hoppers (idiyappam), pittu, idli, buns and vegetables in volume, and the base pot doubles as an ordinary boiling pot. Suits hotel and restaurant breakfast lines, caterers and busy homes that steam every day.
